SMART IRRIGATION CONTROL
Proper moisture content is essential for a lush, healthy lawn. Greenr uses smart technology to optimize watering schedules based on precise local weather information and GPS data accessed over the Internet. We install a Hydrawise smart irrigation controller that monitors weather and adjusts the watering schedule to keep your lawn looking great while conserving on water usage. Less wasted water is not only responsible to the environment; it can also cut your water bill in half. State of the art connectivity lets you integrate with Amazon Alexa as part of your smart home automation. You can also control the system and access detailed reporting via your smartphone to monitor water usage and see how much you are saving.
Greenr can install an optional flow meter that will alert you and us if there is a leak or broken pipe in the system and allow corrective steps to be taken immediately. Ideal for homeowners who travel frequently or property managers with multiple locations, smart irrigation controls prevent over or under-watering even while you are away.
ORGANIC MOSQUITO CONTROL
When you put time and money into creating a beautiful outdoor space, the last thing you want is a mosquito problem. Greenr provides effective organic mosquito control using a mixture of garlic juice and corn syrup. Our treatments are safe for kids, pets and pollinators. Farmers and master gardeners have been using this organic solution for generations to control mosquitos, ticks, fleas and gnats. Garlic juice is toxic to mosquitos and the odor chases them away. When sprayed outdoors, mosquitoes detect garlic as much as 10,000 times more than people. So even though you can’t smell the garlic, the mosquitos do, and will stay away from the sprayed area for up to a month or longer.

ORGANIC FERTILIZER PROGRAM
Greenr offers a new all-natural fertilizer program that offers many advantages to your lawn and to the environment. Traditional chemical fertilizers can make the turf get “addicted” and lose the ability for natural microbes in the soil to strengthen and maintain a healthy root system. Runoff of nitrogen and other chemicals in commercial fertilizers find their way into lakes and streams causing algae blooms and polluting our valuable water resources. Greenr uses a four-step process that gradually improves the health of the soil and builds a thick and lasting turf.
In early spring we apply a corn gluten based fertilizer that uses slow release nitrogen to thicken the lawn and act as a broad leaf pre-emergent. In early summer we apply a Chilean nitrate booster for fast response in cool soils and slow-release nitrogen to promote thick and lasting turf. In late summer a turf starter will be used with grass seed. It contains a rich blend of compost and organic phosphorus, which feeds the grass seed to give your root structure a large boost of growth. In the fall we apply a winterizer treatment containing slow-release nitrogen, potassium and carbohydrates to help the turf prepare for the cold weather and ensure a healthy soil and root system the following spring.
